MEXICO CITY: U.S. Secretary of State Mike Pompeo will discuss migration and trade with Mexican Foreign Minister Marcelo Ebrard today amid heightened tension between the two countries, international media reports have said.

Mexico averted punitive tariffs on U.S.-bound Mexican shipments under the June agreement with the United States.

The meeting in Mexico City between the two leaders comes a day before the 45-day period expires on Monday. (Agencies)
