2,753 youths get jobs in Jhapa under PM Employment Program



BHADRAPUR: A total of 2,753 youths have been employed so far under the Prime Minister Employment Program in Jhapa.

They have been mobilized by 14 local levels for painting schools and maintaining cleanliness at religious as well as tourist areas.

Gauriganj rural municipality is currently collecting data of the unemployed youths. Among the eight municipalities in the district, Kankai municipality has so far provided jobs to 946 youths, who have been employed to maintain cleanliness at tourist areas, planting trees, raising huts, and assisting in the management of religious activities.
