Priyanka to contest from Varanasi if Rahul wants her to



NEW DELHI: Indian Congress General Secretary Priyanka Gandhi Vadra has said that she would contest the Lok Sabha elections from Varanasi parliamentary constituency if Congress President Rahul Gandhi asks her to.

She said if Congress President and her brother Rahul tells her to contest, she said she would be happy to contest, Indian media reported.

He remarks come at a time when some Congress leaders have said that Priyanka could contest from Varanasi against Prime Minister Narendra Modi. No official announcement has come as of yet. (Agencies)
