PM Oli condemns criminal attacks in Sri Lanka

KATHMANDU: Prime Minister K P Oli has strongly condemned the deadly attacks in Sri Lanka.

In a letter to Sri Lankan Prime Minister Ranil Wickremesinghe, PM Oli said he is deeply shocked to hear the sad news of the attacks in Sri Lanka, PM Oli said the Government of Nepal condemns such acts against humanity.

In a statement, he said he believes that the perpetrators behind the criminal acts will be brought to justice at the earliest.

“In line with its principled position, Nepal unequivocally condemns terrorism in all its forms and manifestations,” the letter said.

He has expressed heartfelt condolences to the bereaved families on behalf of the government and the people of Nepal.

“At this hour of grief, we stand by the friendly people of Sri Lanka,” the letter said.
