COLOMBO: Sri Lankan police on Sunday reported there had been an eighth explosion in Dematagoda. Earlier, seventh explosion was reported at a hotel near the zoo in Colombo.

An eyewitness on local TV said he saw some body parts including a severed head lying on the ground near the hotel.

Earlier today, at least 138 people were killed in six bombings, three at churches and three at luxury hotels.
