NEW DELHI: An earthquake with a magnitude 6.1 on the Richter scale was felt across North India, Pakistan and Afghanistan on Friday.

The epicenter is said to be near the Hindu-Kush region in Afghanistan, according to the US geological survey.

Tremors were felt in various places, including New Delhi, among others. Strong jolts lasted for at least 10 seconds. (Agencies)
