NC leader Koirala lambasts govt for exploiting state resources

KATHMANDU: Nepali Congress leader Dr Shekhar Koirala has lambasted the Nepal Communist Party (NCP)-led government of exploiting the state resources.

He came down heavily on the government for trying to amend the acts to fulfill its inconsiderate interest.

“The government is hell-bent on amending the Act to bring the circumstances in its favor, Koirala alleged the government, adding, “The land and property of Sagarmatha National Park, Kathmandu-based Gokarna Jungle and Durbar Marga-based land are the latest examples.”

This, Koirala said, is an example of the height of irresponsibility on the part of the government.

NC leader Koirala also alleged the Commission for the Investigation of the Abuse of Authority (CIAA), Revenue Investigation Department, among other bodies for failing to act effectively against such irresponsibility.
