BHADRAPUR: Deputy Prime Minister Ishwor Pokharel has warned those trying to reinstate monarchy not to dream of it.

At the Constitution Day celebration organized by Nepal Communist Party (NCP), Jhapa on Friday, DPM Pokharel claimed that the monarchy uprooted by the public would not revive at all. “Do not dream of restoring the monarchy.”

On a different note, Pokharel claimed that Nepal’s constitution promulgated through the sacrifices of the public was one of the best ones in the world.

He reaffirmed that the incumbent government was moving towards implementation of the new constitution that was endorsed by the 90 percent of the people’s elected Constituent Assembly members.
