Suspicious object spotted at Pashupatinath Temple, disposed



KATHMANDU: A suspicious object was spotted at an entrance of Pashupatinath Temple on Friday evening.

Locals had informed police after they detected the suspicious object near gate number two of the temple.

Soon after receiving the information, a team from Metropolitan Police Circle, Gaushala cordoned off the area and informed a bomb disposal squad of Nepal Army.

The squad successfully disposed the object, police said while refusing to speak if the object was a bomb or a hoax bomb.
