NPC staff found dead in Singha Durbar



KATHMANDU: A National Planning Commission (NPC) staff, Nayab subba (a non-gazetted official) has been found dead inside the meeting hall of NPC in Singha Durbar this afternoon.

The staff, identified as Bachchu KC, 45, was found dead inside the office. Police are investigating the case.

He had gone home at around 5:30 pm on Monday after finishing his duty hours. However, CCTV footage showed that he came back to the office at around 8 pm the same day, sources at the NCP told Khabarhub.

His body was found lying on the floor when NPC officials entered the hall for a meeting.

A resident of Kirtipur, KC is survived by a son and a daughter.
