Iran shoots down US drone



TEHRAN: Amidst growing tension between the two countries, Iran has shot down an American drone when it entered Iran’s airspace near the Kouhmobarak district in the south.

Revolutionary Guard of Iran has claimed to have downed the American drone when it was flying in the sky of Hormozgan Province.

“Irani military shot down the unmanned American RQ-4 Gobal Hwak “, said Irani News Agency IRNA.

The US military had said no US drones were flying in the sky of Iran when it shot down one belonging to the US.
