MORANG: A woman has been found dead at Pathari Shanishware Municipality-1 in the district. According to Morang Police, the body of Rina Basnet,28, was found in front of her rented room.
Basnet, a mother of a son, had left her room for a concert on Friday and returned home inebriated. According to SP Manoj Kumar KC, in-charge of Morang District Police Office, empty bottles of beer were found in her room.
Locals had informed police after they found her dead. Police found her naked with her face downwards, when they reached.
A preliminary investigation has shown that she may have been murdered after rape. Her husband is a migrant worker.
