KATHMANDU: The accused behind the kidnapping of Dr. Bhaktaman Shrestha, the then Executive Director of BP Koirala Cancer Hospital, Chitwan has been arrested.

Accused Gautam Yonjan has been arrested nine years after the high-profile kidnapping

According to police sources, a team of Central Investigation Bureau (CIB) arrested him from Maharajgunj area.

Yonjan was given a clean chit by Chitwan District Court but was pronounced guilty by the Hetauda bench of Patan High Court.

He was on the run since then.
