KATHMANDU: The government has promoted two Majors of the Nepal Army (NA).
A cabinet meeting held on Monday decided to promote Major duo Labh Khatri and Rupendra Budhathoki to Colonel, according to Minister for Communications and Information Technology Gokul Baskota.
Likewise, the meeting promoted NA Brigadier General Nirmal Kumar Thapa to Major General and Colonel Narayan Silwal to Brigadier General.
The meeting also approved the resignations of Colonel Deep Singh and Colonel Amit Joshi.
