Nepal govt should be clear about MCC: Janardan Sharma



KATHMANDU: Standing Committee member Janardan Sharma has urged the Nepal government to reseal an agreement with the American government on the issue of the Millennium Challenge Corporation (MCC).

Speaking at the ongoing Standing Committee meeting of  Nepal Communist Party (NCP) on Thursday, Sharma stressed the need to be clear on the issue that the MCC program is different from the Indo-Pacific Strategy.

Sharma, however, stated that the government is in need of the investment.

Standing Committee members are continuing deliberation on the political dossier presented by chairmen Pushpa Kamal Dahal and KP Oli.

The meeting has been taking place since Monday.
