Westerly wind brings cold



KATHMANDU: The westerly wind has brought cold with brief rains across the country. The Meteorological Forecasting Division has said some upper mountainous areas will see the snow, while some hilly areas will receive brief rainfall due to the westerly wind today.

With the departure of the monsoon, the temperature began to gradually decline, said Division meteorologist Ganga Nagarkoti. Similarly, partly to generally cloudy weather features the night in some parts of the eastern region, while some parts in the mid hilly region are likely to see rainfall.

The latest update of temperature in the Kathmandu Valley is 15.5 degrees Celsius in the lowest while 25.2 degree Celsius in the highest.
