226 staffers in Singha Durbar under NVC scrutiny



KATHMANDU: As many as 226 staffers working at various ministries and other departments in Singha Durbar have been under the scrutiny of National Vigilance Center (NVC).

The NVC found them breaching the uniform code, taking leave without approval during an inspection carried out yesterday, said Dalnath Aryal, deputy spokesperson at the NVC.

The NVC carried out an inspection at the Ministry of Finance, Ministry of Water Resources, Ministry of Industry, Commerce, and Supplies, Radio Nepal, National Reconstruction Authority and Department of Printing.

A total of 169 staffers were found unpunctual, 32 found taking leave without approval and 14 violating dress code.
