KATHMANDU: Former Crown Prince Paras Shah on Monday apologized for misbehaving with a policeman at the Tribhuvan International Airport (TIA).

Shah took to Facebook to apologize while maintaining that he vented his ire to the policeman as he was showing a baton to his son.

“I would like to apologize to the concerned party. But, any Nepali father in my position would have done the same. The rest I leave to the Nepalese people to decide,” he said in a Facebook post on Monday.

He added that he was going through a very bad mood of late.

A video of the former Crown Prince misbehaving with an on-duty policeman while he was heading with Bangkok along with his family members had surfaced on social media with many criticizing him for the behavior.
