KATHMANDU: Prime Minister KP Oli on Monday urged the international community to call ‘Gaida, a gaida’, not a rhino.

Stating that the animal is called ‘Gaida’ in Nepali, it would be wrong to be called a rhino. “Gaidas are gaidas, not rhinos,” PM Oli said while speaking at the Director Generals of Civil Aviation (DGCA) Conference in Kathmandu.

PM Oli also urged the international community to call Mount Everest, Sagarmatha.

Over 400 delegates from 43 different countries are participating in the conference.
