SAFF U-15 men’s football team leaves for India



KATHMANDU: Nepali youth football team has left for India to participate in the 2019 SAFF U-15 Championship on Monday.

All Nepal Football Association (ANFA) and Morang District Football Association on Monday jointly bid welfare to the team by organizing a program.

The tournament will take place at Kalyani Stadium situated in West Bengal. It will begin from August 21 and end on August 31. Four teams – Nepal, India, Bhutan and Sri Lanka – will participate in the tournament.

Nepali squad:

Goalkeeper: Ishwor Gurung, Manoj Dahal, Jinas KC

Defender: Pragyan Maharjan, Abhisek Waiba, Pramish Gurung, Ajaya Chaudhary, Jan Limbu, Roshan Thapa

Midfielder: Janme Jaya Dhami, Nirajan Malla, Pradip Lamsal, Nitesh Shrestha, Amish Rai, Bipin Tumsing Magar, Amir Hamid, Mohit Gurung, Nirajan Khatri, Anil Chaudhary.

Striker: Krishan Adhikari Yadav, Krish Sapkota, Sagun Gimi, Shashanka Bohara.
