Biplav outfit takes responsibility for Dhangadi explosion



KATHMANDU: Nepal Communist Party led by Netra Bikram Chand alias ‘Biplav’ has taken responsibility for the Dhangadi explosion.

Issuing a press note, Nirman, in-charge of Seti-Mahakali Bureau of Biplav outfit,  said that the person who died in the explosion is the cadre of Biplav-led NCP and expressed deep sorrow over his death.

The deceased is Ram Bahadur Singh alias ‘Ajesh’, a cadre of Biplav outfit, according to the statement.

Earlier, Kailali district in-charge of Biplav outfit had denied its hand in the explosion.

Seti-Mahakali in-charge Nirman, in the statement, has claimed that the cadre was carrying the explosives in self defense.

A person died and four others sustained injuries when a powerful bomb went off in front of a hotel in Dhangadi Sub Metropolitan-3 on Thursday evening.
