Selah, 10, becomes the youngest to ascend 3,000-foot ‘Nose’



COLORADO: Stunning many, Selah Schneiter, 10, has become the youngest person to climb the deadly 3,000-foot “Nose” at Yosemite’s El Capitan in California’s Yosemite National Park.

It is a mountain which was deemed impossible to scale until the 1950s. She, however, completed her historic ascent after five days of climbing.

She is just 4-feet two inches and said she wanted to have pizza after climbing the rock adding that she wanted to climb it when she was a little girl.

The towering stone was first ascended by Warren Harding, and it took 45 days for him. Several people have died in attempts in several years since then.
