Govt to celebrate Republic Day in grand manner



KATHMANDU: The government said it would celebrate the 11th Republic Day in a grand manner.

Minister for Communications and Information Technology, Gokul Baskota said the programs would be set aimed at institutionalizing the achievements gained from people’s sacrifice at a meeting of the sub-committee held this afternoon in Kathmandu.

He urged all concerned to take the programs among the people. The Republic Day commemorates the day on May 28, 2008, when the federal democratic republic was proclaimed in Nepal.
