TEGUCIGALPA: Five foreign tourists were killed after a private a plane they were traveling in crashed. The aircraft crashed within a few minutes it took off, media reports stated.

Among those killed, four were Canadians. Nationality of one killed was not immediately established.

The plane was headed to the tourist port city of Trujillo, about 80 kilometers (49.71 miles) from Roatan.
