Netherlands wins 2019 Eurovision Song Contest

TEL AVIV: The Netherlands has won the 2019 Eurovision Song Contest.  Duncan Laurence’s “Arcade” won the title. Italy finished second where Russia placed in the third position followed by Switzerland and Norway. In the contest, 26 nations were battling to be crowned Europe’s best pop act.

Madonna was the special guest Saturday at the Grand Final of the Eurovision Song Contest in Tel Aviv, Israel.  Some 200 million people around the world are expected to be watching the annual campy contest. (Agencies)
