Nepal Police Spokesperson Pokharel transferred to MPCO

KATHMANDU: Nepal Police Spokesperson and Deputy Inspector General of Police Bishworaj Pokharel has been transferred to the Metropolitan Police Commissioner Office (MPCO), Ranipokhari.

Likewise, DIG Shailesh Thapa Chhetri at MPCO has been transferred to Nepal Police Headquarters.

Pokharel had served as Spokesperson before and after being promoted DIG from SSP.

Before being appointed Spokesperson, he had served as Kathmandu Police Chief.

On the other hand, Thapa had worked a Spokesperson before Pokharel. It is reported that he will be given the same role again.
