Panta elected NRNA president

KATHMANDU: Kumar Panta has been elected the president of the Non-Resident Nepali Association (NRNA).

Panta, who defeated his opponent Kul Acharya in the elections held on Thursday in Kathmandu, will lead the global organization of Nepalis living abroad for the next two years.

He worked as the vice-president of NRNA for the past two terms.

Panta is currently doing business in Germany.

Likewise, Badri KC, Sonam Lama, Arjun Kumar Shrestha, Mana KC and Rabina Thapa have been elected the vice-presidents.

Similarly, Dr Hem Raj Sharma has been elected General Secretary while Gauri Joshi, R K Sharma as Secretaries of the organization.

Likewise, Mahesh Shrestha and Lok Dahal have been elected treasurer and co-treasurer respectively.
