LALITPUR: A total of three funeral homes have been built at Godavari municipality-3 under the joint aegis of the municipality, ward and the local Guthi.
The homes have been constructed with an objective to protect funeral attendees from sun, rainfall and wildlife, according to Balmukunda Ghimire, the ward chairperson.
The funeral homes have been constructed at Lelinchowk, Kotar, and Paudole in the Godavari area.
The funeral home at Kotar constructed at the cost of Rs 800,000, provides quality funeral services at par with the Pashupati area.
