Gunmen, suicide bomber attack govt building in Afghanistan

KABUL: Gunmen and a suicide bomber today attacked a government building in eastern Afghanistan, injuring nine people including a child and a woman, Afghan officials have said.

The attackers detonated some explosives outside the government building, used for the distribution of electronic identity cards, in Jalalabad, international media reports have said.

Fighting is ongoing, reports said. (Agencies)
