HoR approves Federal Civil Servants Bill

KATHMANDU: The House of Representatives (HoR) on Monday unanimously endorsed the Federal Civil Service Bill, 2075.

Minister for Federal Affairs and General Administration Lal Babu Pandit had tabled the seeking its approval.

Speaking on the occasion, Minister Pandit clarified that the bill was not against the spirit of federalism. He said that the bill was prepared realizing the need of the hour in the changed context.

Likewise, today’s meeting of the HoR also sent the Nepal Police and Province Police bills to the respective committee for clause-wise discussions.
