BHOJPUR: Two persons drowned in a pond at Amachok Rural Municiplity-2 in the district on Thursday.
The deceased have been identified as Nima Sherpa, 25, and Gelbu Sherpa, 20, of Basingtharpu in the district. According to the District Police Office, Sherpa men had drowned while swimming.
Locals had informed the police about the incident.
