Two killed in Morang road mishap



BIRATNAGAR: Two persons died in a road accident at Pathari Sanischare Municipality-10 along the East-West Highway on Thursday.

The deceased has been identified as Tikaram Thapa, 31, of Kanepokharei Rural Municipality-3 while the identity of another deceased has yet to be ascertained.

The accident took place when a bus, Ko 1 Kha 4842, heading towards east from west hit a pick-up van, Me 1 Cha 5391, coming from the opposite direction. Thapa, bus-helper, died in course of treatment while another died on the spot.

The injured are receiving treatment at Neuro Hospital, Biratnagar, Diagnostic Hospital, Pathari and Nobel Hospital, Biratnagar, said police.
