Hospital tense after worker found dead



KATHMANDU: A hospital cleaner was found dead Tuesday morning at the Boudha-based Samata Hospital.

Bimala Tamang, 27, of Ramechhap district who was working as a cleaner at the hospital was found dead, hanging from the ceiling of the hospital building. Enraged relatives vandalized the hospital, police said.

Police then intervened to take the situation under control. The hospital had hired Bimala two months ago. Her body has been sent to the Teaching Hospital for post-mortem. According to the police, further investigations are underway.
