A person dies in an accident



NAWALPARASI: A person died when a bus hit a motorbike in Gaindakot of Nawalparasi along the East-West Highway, police said.

Another person sustained an injury in the accident. Birendra Nanda Sanyasi, 52, pillion rider died when the bus — Lu 1 Kha 8326 — hit the motorbike bearing registration number Na 33 Pa 8763 at Gaindakot-10, last night.

He died while undergoing treatment at Chitwan Medical College, according to police. Injured Bishnu Nirmal Giri, 37, of Bulingtar-3 is said to be in critical condition.
