LUMBINI: President Bidya Devi Bhandari has announced the inauguration of the ‘Lumbini Visit Year 2076 BS’ amidst a special ceremony held on Saturday.
The ceremony was organized today commemorating the Buddha Purnima. Following the announcement, the President invited entire Buddhist followers across the world to visit Lumbini.
She presented the idea of creating an internal touristic circuit by connecting the Buddha’s place and a greater touristic circuit by connecting it to other countries and drew the government’s attention towards that end.
