Number of tourists up by 15% this year



KATHMANDU: The number of tourists has increased significantly in the last four months of the year 2019.

The number of tourists went up by 15 percent compared to the same period last year, said the Department of Immigration.

According to the statistics maintained by the Department, around 454,109 foreigners came to Nepal between January to April this year.

In the first four months of 2018, a total of 386, 030 tourists had come to Nepal. The number of foreign tourists has grown this year compared to last year.
