14-year-old girl raped



GULMI: In yet another incident of rape, a 14-year-old girl of Chhatrakot rural municipality-6 in Gulmi district has been raped by Samir Miya, 45, of Tansen municipality on Wednesday.

Superintendent of Police at the District Police Office, Gulmi, Deepak Kumar Basnet said Miya raped the girl alluring her of money.

Police said Miya had given a lift to the 14-year-old girl on his motorbike assuring her of dropping her at her house when the girl and her mother were returning from maternal uncle’s house.

Police arrested Miya when he was hiding at his house.
