PPL: Pokhara sets 108-run target for Chitwan

KATHMANDU: Pokhara Paltan has set a 108-run target for Chitwan Rhinos at the Twenty20 cricket match of the Pokhara Premier League (PPL) underway at Pokhara Stadium on Tuesday.

Invited to bat first after losing toss, Pokhara notched up 107 runs losing all wickets in the allotted 20 overs.

Pokhara’s Sharad Vesawkar top-scored with 45 runs including three fours and three runs off 39 balls, Kushal Malla secured 13 runs off 12 balls while Aasif Sheikh contributed 10 runs.

In reply, B Karki, Rohan Mustafa, Sunny Patel grabbed two wickets each of Pokhara.
