Cold wave affects life in western Terai



BARDIYA: Cold wave has affected life in the districts of Western Terai including Bardiya.

Cold has increased with the presence of thick fog till late morning.

School and college students, workers and others have been finding it very difficult to carry out their daily activities.

Likewise, children and aged people have been affected the most by the cold weather due to increased risk of pneumonia and pulmonary diseases.

Locals have started to take the help of bonfires to avoid the chilling cold.
