KATHMANDU: The meeting of the committee constituted to recommend the names of officer-bearers for the Truth and Reconciliation Commission and Commission of Investigation on Enforced Disappeared Persons (CIEDP) are all set to publicize the recommended names on Monday.
Committee member Sharmila Karki said that they will make public the names of persons recommended to be the office-bearers of the TRC and CIEDP tomorrow.
The office bearers will be given a period of five days in case anyone files complaints against them, which, she said, would help make a final recommendation.
Karki stated that the committee has also received applicants from those who had already served in this committee.
The incumbent government had formed the recommendation committee in the coordination of former Chief Justice Om Prakash Mishra last April to recommend the candidates for the transitional justice mechanism.
