News festival discusses future of journalism, challenges

BUTWAL: Lumbini Press Club is organizing a News Festival in Lumbini to discuss the role and responsibility of journalism in federalism.

The three-day festival is participated by editors, experts, and reporters.

The festival is discussing various topics on journalism, said Dipes Pachhai, chairperson of the Club.

Editors and journalists from around 300 major media organizations from across the country have gathered in Lumbini, according to coordinator Dipendra Baduwal.

The event would also help boost the Visit Lumbini Year 2076 and the Visit Nepal 2020.
