Bhimdutta municipality gets projects worth Rs 3 billion



KANCHANPUR: Bhimdutta Municipality in Kanchanpur has received projects equivalent to Rs three billion.

The Asian Development Bank (ADB) has ensured a concessional loan to implement the projects.

The projects meant for the infrastructure boost up and organizational strengthening at the local level will be implemented under the Regional Urban Development Project.

They projects include urban road construction, drainage facilities, and waste management.

A 36.6-kilometer cemented road along with a drainage system would be constructed, municipality mayor Surendra Bista informed.

A political consensus has already been forged to make the projects successful.
