Five arrested with 58 kg charas in Baridya

BARDIYA: In a major haul, police have arrested five persons with 58 kilogram charas from the district.

The arrested are Raj Kumar Punmagar, 34, of East Rukum, Juntara Pun, 27, of Musikot-1, Sunthami Budha Magar, 34, and Asmita Rajmali, 26, of Rukum and Khim Prasad Roka Magar, 29, of Rolpa.

Acting on a tip-off, police arrested them from Gulariya-7, police said adding that the gang was attempting to smuggle the drugs to India.

Police Inspector Laxman Oli said that police also confiscated Rs 32,598 and five mobile sets from them.
