Minor impact of western disturbance, light rain possible



KATHMANDU: The Meteorological Forecasting Division (MFD) has forecast partly to generally cloudy in the eastern hilly region, partly cloudy in the central hilly region and mainly fair in the rest of the country.

In a weather bulletin issued for today, MDF said that light rain is possible at one or two places in the eastern hilly region.

The meet office said that the weather will be partly to generally cloudy in the eastern and central hilly regions along with partly cloudy in the western hilly region and mainly fair in the rest of the country tonight, adding that light rain is likely to occur at one or two places of the eastern hilly region.

Nepal has witnessed a minor impact of a western disturbance in the weather. Low-pressure systems created in Pakistan and Rajasthan, India have impacted Nepal, the met office said.
