KATHMANDU: The meeting of the National Assembly passed the Land (eighth amendment) bill, 2076 with a majority on Tuesday.

The bill was tabled by Minister for Land Reforms, Cooperatives and Poverty Alleviation Padma Kumari Aryal.

Earlier responding to queries raised over the bill, Minister for Land Reforms, Cooperatives and Poverty Alleviation Padma Kumari Aryal said the bill intends to resolve the problems facing the landless and address the issue of unorganized settlement.
