KAVRE: A daughter-in-law has murdered her own mother-in-law at Devitar in Dhulikhel Municipality-1 in the district on Tuesday night.
According to Police Inspector Niranjan Bhattarai of Area Police Office, Banepa Suntali Tamang knocked the head of 63-year-old Maili Maya Tamang against the cement wall over a minor dispute at 10 pm yesterday.
Critically injured Mailimaya breathed her last at 1 am today while undergoing treatment at Scheer Memorial Hospital, Banepa.
Police said they are investigating the case after taking 24-year-old Suntali Tamang into custody.
