‘Experience Nepal Campaign’ kicks off



KATHMANDU: ‘Experience Nepal’, a global campaign, has kicked off which has been aimed at attracting tourists to Nepal from different parts of the world.

Nepal Tourism Board (NTB) in collaboration with Himalayan Bank and American Express has initiated the campaign considering the Nepal Tourism Year-2020.

Finance Minister Dr Yubaraj Khatiwada said that the global campaign would contribute to attracting more tourists to Nepal from different parts of the world.

At present, Nepal has a capacity to accommodate around 2.5 million foreign tourists. According to him, Nepal can still accommodate five million tourists within 10 years.

Minister Khatiwada said tourism-related infrastructure development in the country is gaining momentum to reach the government’s target of bringing in 5 million tourists in the next 10 years.
