Yeti Airlines gives away Rs 2 million to Himalayan Sherpa Club



KATHMANDU: Yeti Airlines is providing main sponsorship equivalent to Rs 2 million to Himalayan Sherpa Club (HSC) for a period of one year.

The HSC is in A Division in Nepali football club ranking.

President of the HSC, Karma Chhiring Sherpa and Director of Yeti Airlines Samar Rana signed a memorandum of understanding (MoU) to this connection on Monday.

After the MoU, the Club will now be called Yeti Himalayan Sherpa Club.

The senior manager of Yeti Airlines said they sponsored the amount as part of corporate social responsibility.

Likewise, Sherpa expressed the belief that the support would further help in the development of the Club and football game.
