Elephant attack claims two in Chitwan

CHITWAN: Two people have died after being attacked by an elephant on Madi-Thori Hulaki Highway on Saturday.

The deceased have been identified as Baburam Paudel, 60, and his son Raju Paudel, 35, of Baruwa in Madi Municipality-1, confirmed Inspector Harka Bishwokarma of Area Police Office, Madi.

A heard of elephants brutally attacked them in Madi Municipality-9 near Ambuba Post.

According to police, they came under elephants attack when they were heading towards Bandarjhula from Madi.
