Milan Pandey elected as Bibeksheel Nepali Dal chair



KATHMANDU: Milan Pandey has been elected as the chairperson of Bibeksheel Nepali Dal.

Pandey grabbed the post by defeating his closest rival Shiva Prasad Thapa by securing 58 percent of votes in the election held on Tuesday.

There was a provision of ‘no vote’ for which five percent of votes had been cast.

Similarly, Nirdesh Silwal and Sanjeep Bhattarai have been elected as general secretary and policy secretary, respectively.

Similarly, the elections for the post of vice-chairperson and management secretary and treasurer are taking place today.

The national conference which began in Janakpur on Tuesday will continue until October 19.
